If anybody knows of a Pokemon that produces food on its own that is edible for humans, I would like to know what Pokemon it is and where I can acquire one.

[There are small thumping noises as she expresses her request. The background shows a big, open parasol and whatever small space that shows the trees is moving along, which means she is too, but she doesn't seem to be walking. Probably riding on a Pokemon or something, right? Right.]

... I do not know how much that particular Pokemon would be worth and I have not been given the comparison to measure the currency with. I assume that people have been in the same shoes as I have, so you would know how much money you started with. So if anybody could explain the currency this place uses, that would be nice too.

Also, for a dragon that requires sunlight to move, would you say that it is an autotroph? What about one that has wings but cannot fly? Would it be in the same category as a penguin?

Of course, that would depend on the limitations of the few Pokemon that provide them. Could you list them and what kind of food that they provide?

Sure, Chansey are you're go to source for normal eggs. By normal I mean stuff you see a chicken lay. Not the huge ones that have pokemon in it.

You can eat the fruit off of Tropius, though you'll have to wait for the fruit to grow back.

Milktanks are pretty just cows so you'll only make milk. If you want honey go find a Combee.

I think there are more but I haven't run across them yet.

[Note to self: look up all these Pokemon later in the directory function. She feels that she has to diligently study everything here if she were to truly understand how this whole trainer thing works.]

I'm not sure exactly. No one has a particular number yet.

All I know it's way more than hundred.

Do they have a classification system just like normal animals? [She thinks it would be easier if it ever existed, anyway.]

We classify pokemon by what type they are even if some have two types instead of one.

And that doesn't create any complications? By mixing the two.

Nope, not at all. It just means that it's weakness and defenses are a bit more confusing.

It's impossible to die here. So if you're ever near death, you get sent to the pokemon center to get fixed up.

That does sound rather convenient... however, I do believe the pain of near-death would still linger in your mind.

Alright there are seventeen total. The types are: normal, fire, fighting, water, flying, grass, poison, electric, ground, psychic, rock, ice, bug, dragon, ghost, dark, and steel.

Each type is has strength and weakness with another type's moves.

I see... [No, she kinda doesn't.] This would be plenty helpful if I had a notepad of some sort, but alas... they do not even provide that in the start of my journey. What a shame.

You can make your own notes in the gear. You probably wont run into more than five types for now anyway. The more you get around this place the more types you'll see.
